i love, love, love:
oscar (my cat), steven (bf), the 80’s, the 90’s, HOCKEYYYYYYYYY!!! ♥ the ny rangers ♥, the ny mets (although they constantly break my heart), going to shows, hanging out with good people, painting, collaging, punk rock, ska-punk, hiking, biking, doing my nails all rad, graffiti (only as an observer), cold beer, body mods, bike mods, synthpop, iced lattes, netflix binging, autumn, horror/halloween, making rad jewelry (#UNRULEDclub), making rad mobile wallpapers (666@UNRULEDclub), bargain shopping, etc.
i’ve had personal websites since the late 90s, and while i’ve tried to break up with them, i always come back.
i don’t use my blog(s) the same way i did years ago, i grew up in some ways, but it’s always therapeutic for me to write (even if not all posts get published). this site isn’t meant to be a self-absorbed life on a plate – that isn’t my intention at all. i honestly love sharing cool shit i find, or ideas/stories people can relate to. sometimes you just have to get things out – my ways are art and blogging.
i used to be a part of a rad codey/design community, and there were really cool people that had websites just like this, and that’s how we all met each other. i’m honestly still in touch with a lot of those folks for the most part. while many of those fell off of the entire website lifestyle completely, i code websites for a living, not just for fun. it’s good for me to keep up code skills creating and maintaining websites, SO here we are. still bloggin’ two decades later.
while comments are now off, you can always use my contact form to say hi.
lastly: not to be totally morbid, but when one of my sister’s longtime boyfriends (who i always considered a friend) passed away back in 2005, i found myself going through his xanga a few times over the years. he was hysterical… it made me feel like he was still with us, you know? it was comforting to read all of the funny shit he spewed. i guess if anything ever happened to me, maybe someone i care about would potentially have that feeling reading my site.
– this domain name is the title of a deftones song.
– “that chick jess is truly dazzling” is an altered quote from the movie valley girl.
i know that i appreciate going through someones website and getting lost for hours, so i figure i’d do the same for any potential readers. i try to keep it light, funny, about style, funny complaints (although sometimes there is pure outrage), dream and travel logs and general updates for friends, in case we don’t talk erryday…
thanks for dropping by!
(well, most of you… go away, fattyfattyboomboom.)
let’s be friends?
no thanks to my stalker, i’m not quick to give out my contact info anymore. i do have a contact form if you’d like to reach out, but if for some reason you’re looking for me elsewhere online, my accounts are private. i really only use twitter and instagram for social media. pinterest/tumblr too, but rarely. if you see me anywhere else that isn’t a private account, it’s probably a psychopath — steer clear.
