i don’t often touch on the subject, mainly because i don’t label myself a “cat person”, but i do have a cat. i have a really smart cat, and i’m not just saying that because he’s my widdle kid and i love him… i taught him to stand up, sit down and give me paw within 3/4 “training sessions” each.
what sparked this thought/post is this morning, is that i woke up and looked at the sony alarm clock next to my bed (which is 3 mins ahead of my iphone), and it was 8:02AM. my body alarm woke me up, just because i always wake up at 8AM for work, but the cat was right next to me all “MREOWWWWWW” in my face. it got me thinking, “HOW THE F DOES HE KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS?”. no for real – like, literally down to the minute?!
it wasn’t just this morning, he knows every morning. how the hell do cats know?
i’m thinking maybe it’s like, the sun comes up and it’s his body alarm that’s all “NEED FEWD”…?
i just think it’s smarts, though. i can say certain things to him, and he knows what i’m saying. he often does that “i’m not listening to you, bitch” cat BS, but a lot of the time he complies with the subject at hand. he’s a great little turd ♥
i’m definitely not a “cat person”, i’m just an oscar person.
